About

Dr. Tsipy Buchnik is a National Policy Researcher at the Samuel Neaman Institute. She holds a Ph.D. from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, Faculty of Architecture and Town Planning. Dr. Buchnik earned a B.A. in Economics and an M.Sc. in Quality Assurance and Reliability Engineering. Her doctoral dissertation focused on “The Ecosystem of Coworking Spaces in Tel Aviv and Members’ Considerations in Choosing a Coworking Space.”

At the Samuel Neaman Institute, Dr. Buchnik specializes in science, technology and innovation (STI) policy and indicators, higher education, scientific and technological human resources, and education policy. She has extensive knowledge and experience in statistics, economics, surveys, databases, and a wide range of research methodologies, which she applies in her policy research and analysis.
