The goal of this project, which is operating under the auspices of the Samuel Neaman Institute and the National Council for Civil Research & Development (MOLMOP) is to present data on the science and technology human resources in Israel. During 2007, a first report was submitted, including data base on the supply and demand for a science and technology labor force in Israel.

During 2008, a second report was prepared. This report focuses on issues and questions raised in the first report. The second part of the this report includes the following chapters:

– The non academic technological education in Israel;

– Data on human resources in the Israeli Engineering & Technological Colleges;

– Employment and support mechanisms for candidates for doctoral degree in Israel;

– Collaboration between the academic and the industrial sectors in Israel regarding HR;
