Engineering education; entrepreneurship and innovation
Reuven is a retired Associate Professor at the Technion and a Director of Operations and Projects at t:hub, the Technion Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
Previously, he served as a research engineer for RAFAEL for over 25 years. In his last position, he was the director of a large R&D department. He worked for nine years as a founding partner of Senso-optics. The company developed electro-optical equipment. He also worked for ten years as a research scientist at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, in a research center for advanced manufacturing focused on the automotive industry (ERC/RMS). As a thrust area leader, he advised graduate students and led a team developing electro-optical equipment for non-contact in-line inspection.
He currently teaches several courses in Mechanical Engineering. He also serves as the operations manager of the Technion Hub for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (t:hub). T:hub offers academic programs in entrepreneurship, acceleration programs for ventures and training in 21st skills and inventors training.
His current research interests include engineering education, entrepreneurship and innovation, and smart industry and manufacturing.
