Aspiration to leverage higher education to promote freedom, equality, and solidarity in Israel, research on academia and society is directed toward influencing higher‑education policy, both within academic institutions (universities and colleges) and also in government ministries. The Institute’s activity includes policy analysis in the areas of education, research, budgeting, and the structure of higher‑education institutions, including the development of academic leadership, while seeking to identify effective tools for promoting societal development. Special attention is given to strengthening equitable and inclusive cooperation between academia and society.
