The purpose of the current research is providing a deep dive into a selection of companies, as a basis for establishing a portfolio of innovative Israeli companies in the fields of advanced manufacturing. This is achieved through an analysis, information gathering and insights regarding the activity of the selected companies, evaluation of their business potential and challenges faced by them. The results of this study are intended to be used by the Ministry of Economy, as well as other stakeholders, as a tool with which business opportunities can be realized – both in order to promote exports in this field, as well as a measure to upgrade the Israeli industrial sector by getting it to adopt innovative Israeli solutions.
As part of this research, a series of deep interviews with top management in the selected companies took place, in order to assess the mentioned aspects, as well as the quality of the companies and their management teams, also gathering internal insights relating the target markets and the best practices in terms of marketing channels. In addition, information about the companies was retrieved from various databases, field tours, professional conferences and media publications. The collected information was organized into catalog-styled document which summarizes the key findings about each of the companies into an executive summary structure.
