Multiple-ownership Buildings. . Management. Maintenance. Financing.

How do we deal with building maintenance? Who is responsible for management? How can we preserve our building over time? The challenges of managing and maintaining shared buildings, both low-rise and high-rise, have been discussed in the professional field for many years. These issues concern contractors, planners, apartment owners, researchers, local authorities, planning committees, management companies and government bodies. However, maintenance and management of multi-ownership buildings has yet to receive the attention it deserves in public discourse. Many questions regarding legal issues, planning, ownership, maintenance and management remain insufficiently addressed to this day. The current development trends in Israel intensify these challenges and place the management and maintenance of shared buildings at the centre of the public agenda. During the conference, we will delve into the challenges of managing and maintaining multi-ownership buildings. We will hear from a wide range of experts from the field: representatives of government and local authorities, urban planners and architects, legal and economic professionals, and academic researchers. These professionals will present studies, policy proposals, and practical insights, followed by a discussion of these topics.
