Several methods were used in the evaluation including bibliometrics &#8211; analysis of bibliographic data from publications and patents, and a comprehensive field survey among the researchers working within the framework of the institute.<\/p>\n<p>A specially developed questionnaire examines the researchers&#8217; activities in the areas of nanotechnology and nanoscience.
