{"id":36962,"date":"2013-10-12T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2013-10-11T21:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/neaman.s390.upress.link\/machar-is-already-here\/"},"modified":"2024-11-12T17:41:56","modified_gmt":"2024-11-12T15:41:56","slug":"machar-is-already-here","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.neaman.org.il\/en\/machar-is-already-here\/","title":{"rendered":"MACHA&#8217;R IS ALREADY HERE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In November 2012 , the Planning and Budgeting Committee (PBC ) of the Council for Higher Education published a Call to all Israeli academic institutions encouraging the creation of specialized Haredi academic frameworks within existing institutions .<\/p>\n<p>This Call was the result of a process that began several years before and had gained momentum, after the taking of office of the PBC &#8216;s current chairman , Prof. Manuel Trachtenberg . SNI took an active part in this process, examining various ways in which Haredim could be \u00a0integrated into the Israeli academic world whilst considering the unique characteristics of this population .<\/p>\n<p>The data presented below was derived directly from the academic institutions who partook in this project . Heads of these institutions received a letter from the Samuel Neaman Ultra-Orthodox Integration team requesting \u00a0the latest data regarding the current state of the project in the institute.
