How Feasible are Trust, Transparency, and Real Dialog between Israeli Industries and Communities ? (26.12.2007)

Industry Plants located in proximity to the Haifa Bay and in several other Israeli regions, have stimulated lately tremendous media coverage due to severe environmental concerns.  Communities feel here more endangered then ever before. Citizens do not trust industry spokespersons, neither the representatives of municipal and governmental authorities.

This study-day will display updated research findings, and confront a wide range of related opinions.  It will serve as an essential part in the design of a dynamic dialog model, to be applied to ever-changing variables of industries and communities. In conclusion, this study-day should catalyze continuous environmental improvement processes and true sustainable development.
