The Marine Environment- a Resource (21.3.2005)
The marine environment is becoming more and more loaded, polluting the sea, directly or via rivers. Construction of ports, marina and artificial islands in the sea retards the flow of sand along the beachfront and destroys the marine ecosystem.
The purpose of this conference was to light and present a full cost (including environmental costs and benefits) estimates of the alternatives to discharge of pollutants to the sea, The conference was organized jointly with the Dept. of Natural Resources and Environmental Management,
