The leading American organization promoting education in science and technology as well as scientific innovation and entrepreneurship in Israel through support of the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology. "Interactive Live Networking" of all parties involved in the fields of biotechnology, biomedical engineering and other life sciences in the north of Israel. Its aim is to promote communication and synergism among all of its participants and consequently to encourage biotechnology and life sciences in the north, thus contributing to a better economy. The ENIP project will create a Network of S&T indicators producers, based on the experience of recognised institutions, labs or groups, to deepen our understanding of existing indicators and for new indicator development. The United States-Israel Educational Foundation (USIEF) was founded in 1956 to administer the Fulbright Program between the United States and Israel. Technion Alumni Association The Center for City and Regional Studies is both a research center and a Think-Tank. It is affiliated with the Graduate Program for Urban and Regional Planning in the Faculty of Architecture and Town Planning at the Technion. TIM is a non-profit organization dreamt up by friends of the Technion in Boston, who were inspired by Israel’s technological potential, and enthused by Israel’s managerial potential. The book provides an overview of the introduction and adoption of ICT into a diverse industry and sector which ranges from small, subsistence part time farms which are relatively under-developed to large multi-national agri-businesses competing in world markets. The lessons emphasize that ICT development as perceived by the eventual user is a critical success factor for anyone working in ICT today. |
